In the 37th day of Israel's war in Gaza, Tel Aviv has intensified its assault on the besieged enclave, marking a harrowing milestone with the death toll reaching 11,078 Palestinians, 40 percent of whom are children.

Earlier today, the Israeli army launched a second attack on Al Shifa Hospital, causing significant damage to the intensive care unit, as reported by the Ministry of Health in Gaza. This follows a morning strike that severely damaged the hospital's cardiology unit.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al Qudra expressed grave concern over the latest assault, emphasizing the detrimental impact on critical medical facilities. Al Qudra stated, "The occupation forces recently targeted a number of people as they attempted to leave Al Shifa."

Palestinian medical sources reveal that the Israeli army has surrounded the hospital since Saturday, adopting a hostile stance by opening fire on anyone attempting to move within the vicinity. This alarming development exacerbates the already dire situation in Gaza, where more than 11,000 Palestinians, including two-thirds women and minors, have lost their lives since the commencement of the conflict.

As the international community closely watches these distressing events unfold, calls for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian intervention intensify, with concerns rising over the wellbeing of the countless civilians caught in the crossfire. The situation continues to demand urgent attention and concerted efforts to bring an end to the devastating impact on Gaza's civilian population.
